Room tour part 1

Room Tour part 1: My Desk (top section)

This is a picture of my desk. It is very pink as you can see, and to be honest pink isn't even my favourite colour, but it looks summery so yeah.
Today I am going to be taking about the top section. I don't want to bore you all with a long and annoying blog post so I have separated it into smaller bits.

In the top left corner I have 3 candles. The large white one and the orange oneis from ikea.
The little one was a present from my mum and it says something cute on it.

Next I have 2 pots of fake flowers again from ikea. They were only like £1.30 so it was really cheap and they looked nice together.
The Buddha was just something that I found downstairs ages ago and I claimed it as my own. It has no real reason behind it, I just really like Buddhas. I think they are so cute.
And next there is a small globe of Winnie the Pooh from when I was like 3. It is really meaningful and so I keep it front and centre.

And then on the end I have a cute little bucket where I put all my stationary. I don't think you really need me to explain what is in there, but there is like
2 pairs of scissors
4 pens
3 protractors
1 ruler
2 highlighters
And some cello tape and the bottom.

I hope that you like this part of my room tour and if you want me to do more please comment below.

July Favourites 2014 // CaseyCakes0403

It is the beginning of August and that doesnt just mean that it is time for summer to end, but it also means that it is time for another favourites video.

Beauty favourites

This months beauty favourite was the Soap&Glory brow Archery. I find that this allows me to have the best shaped brows I can. You are able to achieve many different shaped eyebrows from this kit since there is a waxy side and a pen side.
When I do my brows i like to have a nice point and make them defined, since i wear glasses and a prominent eyebrow goes well with a glasses; and especially since mine are a big and bold pair of glasses.
(I am going to be doing a more in-depth review on this product on this weeks Review Wednesday, so stay tuned in)

Clothing favourites

I am not really too sure if this counts as clothing because it is more jewellery, but I still wear this on my body so i guess it kind of counts doesn't it?
However this month I have been loving my new Michael Koris watch. The watch is in rose gold with a white face and some little diamonds around the outside, along with 3 other faces on the inside; one saying the month, one saying the date and the other, i actually do not know what it is used for yet:') woops
If you have ever looked at one of these watches, you would know that they are expensive (well to me they are anyway) and i have wanted one for about a year now and I have been saving up with christmas money and birthday money and money from work and when me and my family went to America, I could finally afford it, since it worked out to be cheaper then planned.
It did slightly break my bank, leaving me with practically nothing, but i know i am going to be getting a lot of use out of this so for me it was a good investment.

Random favourites

The last thing i have been loving is kind of random, but kind of hair so I am not really too sure what category it would go into, again, but I have placed it here.
I have been loving hair wraps! They throw me right back to my childhood and I don't know why but I really like them. As you can see i done this on an extension so that it will last longer whilst also not damaging my hair. I actually made this myself with some old extensions and some sewing thread that I found in the cupboard.
I love the bright colours and how it can transform your hair from being boring to being stylish and just adding that extra something without having something too obvious in your hair.
If you would like to see a tutorial of how to do this leave a comment and if enough people comment i will show you how i made this. It was pretty easy, however it was quiet time consuming.

I hope you have enjoyed this months favourites video and I hope that I didn't bore you too much.

IM BACK OH YEAH

Hey everyone,

I am back, finally

I am sorry that I have been away for so long and I wish I had a proper excuse but really the only excuse I have is that I had exams and I know that other people still managed but you know a lot of my spare time was taken up revising and stuff and as soon as they were finished I went on holiday and I came back on Wednesday morning

But now I know that I am going to make 2 blog posts a week. I am going to be doing "review Wednesdays" and then another blog every Wednesday.

If you have any topics that you want me to talk about leave a comment and I will take all advice on board.

Sorry again for the break

Review of Maybelline the falsies: volume express mascsra

This is my eye before the mascara
This is my eye after uding the mascara
This is the diagram at the back of the packaging
This is the packaging of the mascara
This is the shaoe of the brush

Hey guys!
Recently I bought myself the Maybelline the falsies mascara, and so fsr I have really enjoyed this and I have seen my eyelashes look bigger.

I habe found that this formula really lengthens my lashes and also gives them volume.

I like the way on the back of the packaging bottle thing it tells you the best way to apply the mascara with a diagram.

This mascara isn't the cheapest at a sale price in drug stores of £7.99. But most drug store mascaras are around this price.

However this has instantly become my favourite mascara and I can see myself loving it.

I hope this has helped you if you were looking for a good new lengthening and volumising mascara.

If you have any questions about this product,  please comment them down below and I will answer them.

Pancake day: my birthday

Yesterday was pancake day, as most of you are aware, but yesterday was also my birthday!
As soon as I got home from school, I made myself and my sister some pancakes. The first one I made was a total disaster

However the second time I made one I thought that, personally i think it was absolutely amazing, and I sprinkled it the traditional, in England anyway, lemon and sugar, however I did have a few other options to have after my amazing first one.

Then after wards I went out to my favourite resteraunt, a Chinese, I mean who doesn't love some Chinese food, I did take some pictures of what I got, but not everything.

When I went out, I wore my long too from H&M which was only £9.99. I wore just a plain black pair of leggings which were probably from primark and then my new pair of air Max's that I got for Christmas.

Thanks for reading I hope you have enjoyed it. Leave questions and comments below.

How to have a good hair care routine for long blond hair

This blog is going to be telling you about all the different hair products that I use to try and keep my hair in good condition and how to make it blonder... If that's even a word haha, but you understand.
This is my hair the length and the colour. (Excuse the dirty mirror and bedroom, and my chubby-ness)

I would consider my hair medium to long, and blonde at the bottom and brown ish at the top, it is more of a dark blonde at the top. I don't use the same products every time as I will explain later on but yeah:)

On an everyday routine, like if I just want to wash it so it is not greasy for school, I would use any shampoo and conditioner that Is for dry hair. The ends of my hair are really dry, so I like to use one that helps it and recently I have been using the herbal essensences seriously smooth shampoo in ginger, cinnamon and banana. I have the matching shampoo and condition and they work really well and I have found that they did help my dryness in my hair. I have now used It all up and will probably try a different one but I still really like it.

Once a week, usually on a Thursday or Friday, I will do my hair so that it will look nice and blonde, and so that it is also in better condition with a protection against hear if I am planning on styling it.
For shampoo I use any silver shampoo. I find that silver shampoo really brings out the blondness In your hair and it lightens the colour of it. I like this one, however I do find this to be really drying on my hair, so I tend to only use this once a week, and not everyday. But it still does brighten it, even the dark blond at the top.

Then for conditioner I will use Aussie 3 minute mirical take the heat conditioner. I really like this because I can feel that it really does work and it leaves my hair feeling sooooo smooth and soft to touch. I have been using this for along time and it lasts for ages, since I only use it when I am putting heat on it which I only 2-3 times a month in the winter. I love Aussie and all the sences and I love it.

And then to really brighten it up I use the Lee Stafford sun kissed hair spray to lighten my hair again. This spray is a spray that you spray on towel dried hair. This is really good, however it does leave your hair with an awful smell like chemicals so unless you are planning on putting a lot of other sprays in your hair I wouldn't use it, but it really does brighten your hair.

Thanks for reading
I hope this has helped you

My top 5 makeup items

Hey guys, how are you?
Today I am going to be telling you my top 5 make up products that I couldn't live without. If you are interested in any of these products there is going to be a link next to the product if yoy are interested, the links will most likely be only accessible in the uk so sorry but here we go
    (All product)

The first product is a mascara. This mascara is from avon in the luxe range. They have stopped this now however all of Avons mascaras are good. What I like about this product is that it really lengthens your lashes however it doesn't volumise them, and that is something that I need in a mascara so I usually put this mascara and a different one on aswell, but it is still really good. I think that the packaging is really nice as well. Most mascaras are in a circle tube, however this is in a trigular shape!

The next product is a eyeliner. I have the No.7 eyeliner in stay perfection, and it does what it says. It stays on your waterline or under your eyelashes and doesn't smudge and leave you looking like you have a black eye like some do! I love eyeliner pencils because they really define your eyes and you can do so much with it and use it in so many different ways. This has been my favourite eyeliner that I have tried.

Next I have a bronzer. With bronzer again it can define your whole face and you can make your face look really different. You make make your face look more structured or even more slimmer if you know how to do it right. I liker his because it is in little balls and I don't know why I just find it more fun this way! Haha. I love this because if just gives me a nice glow (hint the name I guess) so if isn't too orange but you can still see a difference when you put it on.  I got it in the shade warm

Next I have probably a foundation that you have heard talked about by a lot of bloggers and youtubers. It is rimmels wake me up foundation.  But it really is my favourite. I love cep vetting about it for the packaging to the shimmer in it to the texture. I think the texture is really nice because it mousterises your face. It is likes a really tinted tinted moisturiser. It is also easily accessable from must drugstores in the UK. The shimmer in it really brightens your face.

My last product is also from rimmel and it is also another highly raved product. This product is the rimmels stay Matee powder. I have had this for ages, and I haven't even hit pan yet, and I use it every day no matter what. It is really nice because it doesn't leave your face looking like you have just power, it looks really natural and that's what I love about it. It is also coloured which is also good because if can make you look less dark or more dark, and it comes is many different colours so there is one for everyone. It is also super cheap, under £4!

Hope this has given you some good ideas on what you want to buy and If you have any questions please ask me.

Haul!

Today I went to Bluewater and I naught a few bits and I thought that I would share with you what I bought! Sorry if tehe quality is bad because I took them on my phone!
I the first place I went to is new look. I got a new skater skirt and a golden necklace. I have a skater skirt already, however it is not a thick material and I wanted a new one with a thicker material. I went to the sale bit and there was one for only £7!! The size is too big however it comes with a belt so I just do it as tight as it could go. I like the pattern on it. I also like the length, the one I have before is abit short, however I like the length of this one is abit longer, but not too long.
The next thing I got is the gold necklace. I got it because I thought that it would go nicely with the skirt. I have also seen a lot of people with these necklaces and I have wanted one for a long time and so I finally got one. If was also from new look and it was £9.99. It was a bit expensive however I will wear it a lot and get some good use out of it.
The next shop I went to was H&M. My sister wanted to go in there and dragged me in, so as I was looking around I found this long jumper that I really like. I think that it will look nice in winter with a pair of leggings and then in summer you should wear it as a dress because it was so long. I go it in an size too big because I wanted it really over sized. This was £9.99 aswell. I love the floral print on it and it really brings some colour to it.

I hope that this has given YOY a few ideas of things to buy.

I hope you enjoyed it.

January favourites

It's probably too late to be doing a January favorites since we are already into February but not toof ar so here are some of my favourite fashion items the past month. I hope you enjoy it

These are my 3 most favourite items of the month. (Excuse my feet at the bottom)

The first one is my new Air Max's. I got some new shoes for Christmas and so did everyone else so it seems since I have seen loads of people with the same shoes as me, however I am in love with them. These were from office, and I think you can buy them in most shops, but I think that they are quiet expensive, however I do not know the price because I got them as a gift. However I love them and they are different to all the other Air Max's

The next thing I have been loving are the mom style jeans from new look. They are high waisted and an acid wash colour. I love these so much. I normally hate jeans but these have been my favourite because they are not skin tight and they are a bit baggy, which makes them a lot more comfortable. I got these from new look and they were not in the sale so they might still be in the store. I got them for only £24 which I think is a real bargin, because jeans now days are really expensive

The last thing I have been loving is this coat from river island. I love the pattern on the back of the coat and on the sleeves making it different to all the other plain coats. I also love that this has like a hoodie style thing on the outside, it's stitched in and it keeps it even warmer. It also keeps you really warm and because it looks like such a thin jacket that it what I love about it. I got this from river island in the middle of December and I think that it was around £75. I know that it was expensive, by I needed a new coat and this coat will last me a long time as I can wear it if it is a bit cold in summer (which it will be because it is England)  and in winter.
